Prenatal Care

Individualized Prenatal Care

Prenatal visits with Earth Garden – Doral Home Birth aims to nurture the whole person. We set aside an hour for each visit, meeting either in our cozy office with a mug of tea, or in the comfort of your own home. You are welcome to bring whoever you choose to your prenatal visits – this time is for you!

During each visit we discuss the progression of your pregnancy – the growth of your baby and changes in your body. We provide guidance and education along the way about pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and parenting. We want to know and track how you are doing physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

We offer all the same testing options you would have with standard obstetrical care, providing you with information to make your own choices about each procedure and test. We are able to perform lab work in our office and refer for ultrasounds or any other special testing as needed. Throughout prenatal care, we continue to assess that your pregnancy remains in a low-risk category and that a home birth is still a good fit for your family.

As we spend time getting to know one another, an important bond of mutual trust is formed. By the time we meet your baby, we know you, your family and what is important to you.
